Lets get the conspiracy theories going.

    # Darragh Calleary 'bitterly' disappointed (the hint is in 'bitterly) !!

    # Story 'leaked' to the press about Barry Cowens drink driving conviction and driving on a learner permit.

    # Taoiseach willing to 'forgive & forget' the matter.

    # Darragh Calleary is probably still 'bitterly' disappointed !! (the hint is still in 'bitterly')

    # Further story 'leaked' about an apparant 'u turn' to avoid Gardaí.

    # Taoiseach not happy...Barry Cowen sacked.

    # Darragh Calleary made Minister..... ( feelings of 'bitter disappointment' disabated)....Yippee !!!

The devil is in the detail !!!!

While I absolutely detest The Trioka parties, in fairness what Little Biffo did was very much at the lower end of the scale!
He was prosecuted and fined for it!
    Ride them on the beaches!

Apparently the new agriculture minister is fully qualified for the job as his grandfather on his mother’s side once owned a farm and he’s driven by some large fields on his way to Dublin, I doubt he has a clue but sure that never stoped a politician in the past

Yep have to agree , he did the crime and served the time , that should be the end of it .
Martin is only interested in himself, he knew All about it but if he owned up then he would feel the heat to resign

How can a lad in his late 40's not have a full driving licence?
He should have been sacked for that alone.

It doesn't say much about his ability to get on top of his brief if he can't even manage to pass a basic competency test to drive a car.
