I hope Cassandras response is left up unedited, we will see .
I commented on the the thread about John Waters and Gemma Dohertys protest and made my view clear. Please look it up.

I have also made my views clear on other threads . You and I on most things agree , on this we will need to agree to disagree

I will sign the on line petition today in support of this organised by Lord mayor of Dublin.

I was not referencing to Waters et al we both know where i am heading but lets leave it .

I agree with Cassandra , Racism is not a neutral choice

Lmao. You don't see colour either right?

*inhales in negro* Go fuck yourself ,go fuck yourself, and if you reach a pier keep going. One cannot be simply "not racist" one must be decidedly anti-racist.

Didn't take long did you. Uni was and is expensive so given you don't pay my bills I'm a say one word. Those white supremacists your blowing your little dogwhistle at, don't care about you. But gwaf. I certainly won't stop you.

    you dissapoint me

    start with yourself maybe baby.

Oh aye,it is. The stories I could tell..

Oh you didn't ? God bless you you sweet thing ya.

    Okay Kayleigh.

Fuck you you hypocrite, I've watched you attempt to distract and diffuse all over this thread. You dare offer ccondolences when you dare question those who would strike at the boot what killed him? Abeg me god come and save. benzi!

    stay...the fuck...out my mentions...you should know better...I bet you've a Zaldarian character too...no excuse

no shit dummy, and neither did Breanna, Trayvon, Castille...it's almost like there's a larger system at play that encourges those who kill them and that which led to their death

your reasoning willfully ignores context, that is if any of what you say is true. Bet you were all dicks out for harambe, because fuck the poor black child who nearly died right?

you are neither black nor an escort, you don't get to use either card. Don't forget what other group likes to spiel up womens' rights in their supposed crusade. But what am I saying? You probably subscribe to Pewdipie

If being a saint is what it takes to have your human rights respected, none of us would merit much. I thank you for your allyship.I know talking to whyte folk bout these things aint much better when you white yourself, espcailly for women.

Then you've missed the fucking point. Libretarianism won't save you now boyo

I could die anyday. I could be giving birth in front of doctors who hold hi."ppocrates oath far below the thinking " black folk don't feel pain the same way we do."
It could be in the arch of a doorway because I don't know my tennant rights, rights denied to me by unregistered but otherwise sound ladlords who don't think I'm deserving of that same civility.
I could die, like my mate Blessing's mother, from an undiagnosed tumor passed off as something I could walk off by a doctor who (see point 1)
I could suffer at the hands of an abusive partner but find no help because, should he be black, "what did you expect?"
I could (and have) suffer malnutrition because employer after employer wants to "look after their own first" no matter what it says on their birth certificate.

Everywhere I go , the moment I stepmout ofpreconcieved notions ,some of which I have utilised to sell my services: I am a threat.

You ever have a bunch of E. europeans bent on smearing you because they think the fact you've a room somewhere a threat?
You ever turn to your fellow Irish girls expecting camaradarie and instead discover one has projected her drug use and disrespect for house furnishings on to you?

If there is a right time for protest then it is no protest, rather stater sanctioned theatre. Do not offer your condolences then tell me that's rain on my back my dear.

Apologies for typos. I'm feeling some kinda way

    and Loki, I forgive you.
I am no hypocrite , I did not distract on this thread. I offered my condolences not sure what you mean about the boot comment as I in no way offered any excuses for the murder which took place.

I am not a dummy and just because my views dont involve endangering the lives of the citizens of this state for a crime commited in another does not make me the villan you depict me as.

Hopefully the mass gathering you advocate wont have too much of an impact on the elderly and vunerable members of society.

Good day and bless you too.

It is said that education is a corner stone to defeat racism . The last few pages of this thread might just do that for some. The hurt caused is clear and v understandable. I feel less than good about deciding not to head on challenge some posts here .

Indeed, I opted out of this discussion a few days ago because I seem to have been targeted for who I supposedly am as much as for my argument.

Unfortunately I wouldn't share your optimism about the penny finally dropping after the "education" Cassandra gave them. Racists tend to go quiet when challenged to later emerge yet again. And we have seen a prime example of that in the last number of years with them feeling legitimized and empowered by the political rhetoric of the likes of Trump and Johnson. And rather depressingly on a smaller and more local level with the election of Verona Murphy in Wexford in our own recent election.

Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.

I have seen you persistently pursue those of differing opinions on several threads demanding explanations for their comments. I think one poster described you as a dog with a bone. When you yourself are held to the same standards you whimper about being targeted for who you are claiming some kind of victim status.

    How sad.

No accusations of ageism were directed at you despite the fact that the actions you endorse would have a very serious impact on their health and safety.

Get down off your high horse and take a long hard look in the mirror.

I repeat my earlier question to you. How many infections and deaths will you deem acceptable in this country for your show of disapproval for a crime commited in another state ?

Black lives matter, I agree with that 100%.

I saw something on YouTube a couple of days ago, it was a young white lady commenting on the current situation in America. She said something that made me think.

She said that white people can't understand what black people have to endure and have endured for centuries solely because of the colour of their skin. White people have never faced slavery, oppression, racism for being white. They have been invaded and conquered and oppressed but for monetary reasons, not because of the colour of their skin.

Those police officers involved in the death of Mr Floyd should be tried and convicted of murder. They deserve no mercy, they showed none to that man.

I'm well aware that I'm speaking as a white privileged individual, living on the other side of the Atlantic, away from the riots and violence that is sweeping across the United States at the moment. I agree with and understand that people have had enough and are outraged at the death of yet another black man while in police custody but the rioting and looting serves no purpose. The majority of protesters are trying to make their voices heard in a peaceful way but as always there's a minority hell bent on causing anarchy.

The rioting has claimed the lives of several people, the looting has destroyed the lives of many more. It serves no purpose, all the tension is dividing communities even further. It's causing more hate, distrust and resentment. There is no quick easy solution to what's going on, a good start would be to not re-elect that buffoon Trump!!

Anyway looking at what's going on I'm certainly glad to be Irish, our little country isn't so bad after all.
We have two lives , the second begins when we realise we only have one .....
