If the weather continues people are gonna flock to the coasts - I would be tempted too

The end of the garden it is - the only thing, I won’t get much of a reaction off the beech tree when I burning its ear after a slab of cans

The bank holiday was last Monday in the North here so unfortunately I'll be working this Monday.

I'm lucky enough to have a beach three hundred metres from my house and the hills are just as close. I have a couple of trees to cut down this morning, I think I'll go kayaking or snorkeling after that. This whole covid/ lockdown situation has made me re evaluate my priorities, I've actually enjoyed the time off, the headspace.
I am of course well aware of the incredible financial difficulties it has caused for so many, especially the advertisers here. I hope things get back to some normality very soon.

If I’m being honest, I’m the same - I’ve been lucky that I’ve been getting paid (and working) throughout but managed to get a lot of things done that had always been on the long finger

It’s very small trivial stuff I miss;, a pint, a weekend away, get together with friends, a concert, bit of a sing along

I know I’m fortunate in comparison to some people’s situations, but hopefully the world will be a slightly better place when people realise it’s the small things that we miss and we should value

In my work everyone is getting one day off a week on a rota basis (due to covid-19) My designated day off is Mondays. Unfortunately last Monday was a bank holiday, up north, so everyone else was off on MY day off. Luckily for me the boss was in a good mood and give me a half-day off tomorrow without me even asking for it. Have to say it worked out nicely in the end. Half-day tomorrow and then my usual Monday off
