In other countries the police goes to working apartments and tell the ladies to stop working.

I think the lockdown here will continue until May. But then once we open up the country again, it will just return.

When will the virus be completely gone world wide? I think next year.
It will NEVER go now. It will be like the cold and flu virus, which incidentally is believed to have originally come from animals. The common cold is known to have killed many indigenous people when it was spread by Europeans, because they had no resistance to it. We will eventually develop resistance, and a vaccine, and it will be less of a problem.

Until the next one comes along....

The advice from SWAI to these girls was dreadful.

First word of advice contact your own embassy - they have a duty of care, what you were working at last week is irrelevant

Then contact the likes of SVDP or the many other charitable groups who will and do help people

If you are threatened with eviction contact the RTB for advice or citizens information

The reality is none of the girls continuing to work are likely to get enough clients to make a weeks wages anyway so they need help and they need it now, and relying on clients through the door will not work
I am not going to debate this any further with you no point none. I know far more of the background challengers than you do and if you do know as much as I do then you would not be posting like this. I have helped 2 girls out directly without pontificating . Perhaps you should do the same.

Over 300 still advertising and probably another few hundred not advertising but scared and in need of help and not getting any help and do not know where to turn.

The weakest and most desperate are most likely unknown to all of us, how do they get help

It is for them very very difficult , and many unique circumstances . There is no one answer but we need to support them and find a way to get them out of appointments in a positive way . For me my part is helping directly where I can those I know .

I do not have a one size fits all solution here but do not want to add to their challenges here.

I hear you and those in short term rental paying crazy weekly rent need to be directed towards much cheaper accommodations that are available, obviously not suited to working from but would provide a safe place to stay for the next couple of months till things get back to normal

There are 4 bed homes available for around 1K a month that 8 girls could share in the short term

There is zero point in girls paying rent in apartments to work when there is no work and they are only getting themselves into a worse financial situation
