I dont doubt you and if that's your business and they have the correct planning then you would be mad to change.

It's the people who threw out tenants to enter the short term market that will likely return and hopefully the RTB will start enforcing the law.

I know I used to have a short term rental home in the states and the regulations were very strict and enforced. Failure to make tax returns on time could lead to the home been seized by the tax authorities.

Already on Daft some apartments are been offered with two months free rent.
but when this has passed and all back to as normal as it can be, rents will be back up in all good well sought after areas and everyone including escorts will be paying high prices.
There will be a recession but like everything as we know, good apartments in good locations will always be in high demand

The last long term renter wrecked the place and left with rent outstanding, I’ve been doing short term ever since, just finished a refit and to be honest I’m wary of even the short term/holiday let renter now, luckily I can afford not to take any bookings in the short term, the whole market is in flux for the next few months

Business will resume but maybe not to “normal” after the storm .
Business will resume and this site will be here . It has few real overhead costs , maybe a temp layoff of a few staff and rehire when biz picks up , which it will . The escort biz has come through wars, plagues , recessions .. Of course this will be n impact for a while but its not apocalyptic , just sit tight , the ladies will always find a way ....always

Very true. The world's oldest profession has survived war, plague, famine, revolution, etc etc. Things will be back to normal as soon as the coronavirus tails off.

If there is a full lockdown, Ruhama and Rachel Moran are going to go to town on this website still operating. "All these pervy men are spreading the virus." That is what they will say and then the public will be outraged.

Escorting will be back no question. It could be a different website though.

What makes you think that the website owners would not have enough savvy to suspend advertising

That is literally what they will have to do if they want to survive.

If there are less escorts advertising, maybe there would be more business for other girls in the area.? I can understand why there are less advertising as foreign girls may be concerned about coming here in case their flights get cancelled.

Of course I don't know how business overall is doing on average throughout Ireland but last time I was out seeing an escort and I was leaving after the appointment, her flatmate came over to me and said "come back and see me tomorrow" whilst touching my sensitive parts. If she was very busy she wouldn't have said that
