Wales finish the Championship on 20 points, the losing bonus point for France tonight means they finish in 2nd place on 16 points, Ireland and Scotland both finish on 15 points with Ireland holding on to 3rd place by a single match point, England finish in 5th on 10 points and Italy prop up the table on zero points. It was in 1926 that Scotland last won at Twickenham and in Paris in the same championship. Very few would have predicted they would do it this season.

Of the 15 Championship matches played this season 8 of them finished with 5 points or less winning margins. Other than Italy`s matches only the Wales-England and Ireland-England fixtures ended with larger winning margins.
