Naw, Big John was'nt much for dogs, he was more of a horseman.......or was that a cowboy? And while Gene Autry and James Stewart signed up during WWII, Big John avoided it, though the movies made it look like he captured Iwo Jima singehandedly. No Big John, sad to say, was a bit of a chickenshit. Hell, if Rover barked at him, he'd probably shit himself. Him and Dubya had a lot in common.
