It doesnt matter. Pick a random location and stay for as long as business is profitable. Look for a hotel thats value for money and dont go for the cheapest place in the city like a tiny room in a back alley overgrown with
weeds and neighbours who throw their trash out the window

Kerry is the nicest county in Ireland if you are looking to do a tour/holiday, lots of hotels down there too. Don't stay away from Dublin for too long though!!
