Thread: Escorts and forum posts

  1. #1

    Default Escorts and forum posts

I received a private message from a moderator saying one of my replies to a client request forum was removed as "[I was] currently not advertising.
And [they] did a quick scan and could not see any future tours in [my] account either. For this reason, [they] have had to remove the post"

I was not replying to the thread to solicit, but to express my openness to a particular scenario, and there is currently no rule in place in this forum section regarding the confines of non/advertising escorts. I've seen many other non-advertising escorts do this, using the "thanks" button as a nudge or hint. Plus, clients can shill whatever escorts they want to beat the band, but escorts have to pay if we're *even seen* to be promoting ourselves in any way. If an escort isn't currently advertising, she can't engage in any client requests, so is the client request subsection exclusively made for clients to shill their favourite girls? Do us escorts have to pay for advertising, even if we are not touring, to simply be a part of this "community"?

It also makes me wonder that if someone was to pose a simple question to the women here, such as "do you like X, Y, and Z?" and she replies positively, somehow that is considered soliciting or promotion. Or, for example, the thread asking "who has the best ass in Dublin", and there are girls putting themselves forward which weren't removed. And in the world of EI, it's pay up or shut up -- unless of course you want to discuss the mind numbing crap on here, for free, as if we don't have actual work to be doing and people to meet. Personally, I already put out content *for free* on Twitter etc, I take issue with having to *pay* to engage in free conversation with clients on this site.

Are EI going to reduce the forum to a revolving door of clients' back and forth nonsense? It's already very apparent that there is a lack of engagement from escorts on this site, there are many reasons as to why, but the heavy policing of both escort and client discussion is discouraging, and I wouldn't even be surprised if this post gets removed too.

And if I had replied to the thread your are talking about suggesting an escort who was not currently advertising it would be ok based on previous posts and threads.

Moderating and deleting posts and thanks etc like that would just either run escorts of the forum or encourage them to set up a client account also

Oh and a correction, it was actually in the "fetish scene" section, not the client requests. So we can't discuss fetishes without coughing up money every week :rolls eyes:

That's pathetic policing of the forum. E-I really has gone to pot. It's all about the bottom line.

Agreed. That is moderation gone mad. You can actually pm a punter requesting a particular service, which is advertising yourself, but you cannot join in on online discussion on your days off?

Ladies who are flirty on line should get a rebate from EI.

TBH I'm not interested when I see 2 juvenile male egos slagging each other.

Hi all, please note that I have deleted some posts as you seem to be attacking each other going off topic a little.
Lets show more respect toward each other, or don't post at all.

Now for the post that this is based on.
This thread is in the 'Client Request' section, not too sure if the thread was moved from the Fetish Scene, but when it comes to posting, the same rules apply on the forums no matter where.

If an escort isn't currently advertising, then the escort cannot post to state that they are in such a location.
No date, tours, location, contact details and so on is not allowed.

This cannot be posted, but only if the dates are paid for, then posting this is fine, but only in the Advert section or in the signature.
Otherwise posting anywhere else is classed as touting.

    Floki.
But she didn't post dates or location, just said she enjoyed whatever fetish was being discussed.
    That's how I understood it.
Why completely remove the post altogether?

When posts state they are back in such a place, no matter where the location states and then includes For a limited time, then this is classed as touting.
Not even an advertising escorts can post such.

Anything like that can only be created in an Advert which would need to be posted in the Advert section only.
In the signature is fine as long as they are then advertising.

    Floki.
BUT, I never once mentioned my location, tour dates, or rates. I simply said that I liked the idea of a particular scenario a client had put forward in the Fetish Scene subform. Go ask Tom - he will confirm, seeing as he deleted it.

I'm not thick, Floki. I wouldn't post specifics if I wasn't advertising, and I certainly wouldn't bother 'touting' here. I have Twitter for that.. Am I allowed post about Twitter, or is that classed as a competitor website?
