I'm off to Amsterdam soon. First time. Anyone got any tips, particularly interested in anywhere off the tourist trail, not interested in the drugs scene.

Thanks for the advice and links. Yes, all of them welcome, I will be travelling as part of a group with varied interests. None of us smoke or do drugs. We might try some Heineken, Coffee & herbal muffins but that is as far as it goes on drugs. We might be a little more adventurous sexually, 2 ladies in the group are interested in the ladyboys themselves and determined on getting us all laid.
Other than the obvious window shopping tourist spots, do large legal brothels exist like in Germany? Maybe places where the locals go?
