What happened here during the famine , pure and utter genocide. Something similar happened in Scotland and India I believe.
All old superpowers of Europe did similar things in the past

So the majority of people in the North and Scotland have no say in their future despite the majority voting to remain and the North electing 2 remain candidates out of 3 in the European elections ?

Firstly the EU is not a state YET thankfully and they were right not to stand for a quasi anthem imo. While turning their back was small minded comparing them to the Nazi's is grossly unfair.
The majority
in the UK voted to leave and no amount of spin by remainers can alter that fact.it was a bit of a joke that the elections had to be held.
