Thread: Fury Vs Ngannou Fight!!

  1. Default Fury Vs Ngannou Fight!!

Ok ok!! I'm far from an expert on boxing or foghting in general
( the closest thing I got to a fight was when someone attempted to take one of my curry chips from my tray with filthy hands )

Anyway, I thought Ngannou really had it, he seemed more composed, professional and not that tired after 10x rounds! And for the fella to have his first boxing debut to be that close to winning??

    Thoughts??

The Fury vice grip hold over boxing is unreal.

Not good for optics having a ufc heavyweight with shot knees taking Fury’s “0”

    They gifted him the decision

Ngannou got robbed. I thought Fury needed a KO to win, or a couple of knockdowns at least. But it's boxing, one of the most corrupt sports on the planet

    Youre 100% right Lyndsay!
It was only ever really an exhibition fight and Fury was never supposed to lose.
The 'Riyadh Champion' belt wont be a serious one and i think Jake Paul and those lads have fought for it before.

Ngannou wasnt bothered at the end because he still made nearly 20 times as much as he has ever done for a fight in the UFC. Im delighted for him.

He won it on points and he couldve won it before the distance, he was going for it in round 7 or 8.
Looks like both fighters just danced for the last 2 rounds, almost like they had been told to or it was agreed.

I think everyone assumed Fury would outbox him for 10 rounds, myself included! But he was very sloppy. If he had robbed a curry chip from you last night youd have flattened him

The Saudis are starting to have incredible influence in sport now due to the massive money being offered, boxing is on the way but its already happened with the PGA tour and with the quality of soccer players heading to their league now.
    I hate it.

Francis won it. It's boxing though was never going to get the nod by the judges. fair play to one judge for having integrity though.

Fury out landed Francis by 13 shots but Francis landed more power/impactful shots in the swing rounds and Fury 100% should have been deducted a point for landing an Elbow flush or his forehead.

I bet on Francis to win. And he won in everybody eyes, but as a commentator said, boxing has become a masked business under the guise of a sport. I would say Francis has a very promising future in boxing...

Francis should have won no doubt. That's why I stopped betting on boxing years ago, you just can never trust the judges to give the right decision. Pretty much the only safe bet was Mayweather. But the odds for him to win were always shit
