After much deliberation, Logan Sargeant is the only driver to receive a penalty. Does not matter since he is last anyhow.

Interesting picture of the altitude of the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez compared to Mount Snowdon, and Ben Nevis, highest mountains in Wales and Scotland.

The altitude of the racetrack means thin air and this has a bad effect on engines, cooling, and most of all, aerodynamics.
Thinner air also means less drag and this may have helped Ferrari in a one-lap qualifying. The aerodynamic set up to take advantage of this can cause greater tyre wear and this may disadvantage Ferrari in the race.
Also, it is a long run down to the first corner, longest in Formula One, so a good start is needed.

So you think Max might win?

Mclaren seemed to have good race pace, a pity about Lando, but will make for some good racing, Piastri and Ricciardo on the podium?

It is a pity about Lando who fell foul of "track limits".
Mclaren have made great improvements, pity they has such a poor car at the start of the season.
I would never write Max Verstappen off, and from third he must still be favourite to take a win.

    Perez home race,

Car turned up to 15 on all settings for the win,

Can he finish in the top 10?

Let's watch how Ferrari fucks it up at some stage...

Pity about Aston Martin - such a great start of the season and now they are so at the back of the pack.

What happened with Williams? Such a great pace up until the qualy...

Ferrari guaranteed to get their strategy wrong. Also locking out the front row seems good but being first and third is sometimes better; danger of both cars tripping each other up in the drag race to the first corner.

Alex Albon's Williams did not progress beyond the second stage qualifying after his time was deleted for exceeding track limits by cutting the inside kerb at Turn Two and did not have time to go again.

Logan Sargeant did not set a time after Fernando Alonso spun and brought out a yellow flag. This messed up a lot of driver's qualifying.
In any case,Logan Sargeant is barely doing enough to earn his stripes this season.

    Oh yes, of course

At least he is putting on a show for the fans as he can not do much more than that.
