Can't see bert getting us to any finals, even if we were the only team in the group we'd still make some arse of it.

Vera got badly treated by the FAI by leaving it to 11th hour to tell her they weren't renewing her contact, presumably they hoped she'd walk away knowing it wasn't coming but at least she showed them up for the cowards they are.

I think the players have made a rod for their backs thinking they are better than the defensive style she put them out in.
Getting to another finals for this group is not a guarantee in the near future and I think some of the ex players complaining about the style of play has only undermined Vera along the way.

Vera is not happy with the way it all came to an end.
It does seem very poor from the FAI and players POV, it’s wrong if she was being undermined during the Cup .
Bert sat on the fence when asked for his opinion, the FAI probably gave him a statement to read .
She deserved much better.

I revert to my previous post with predictive text. FAI does not equal FAIRNESS. Now FAILURE is a different story.

Spain sack their head coach jorge vilda. If vera felt hard done by then you can only imagine how he feels. Obviously there has to be other things going on behind the scenes.
