Game Of Thrones Prequel Blood Moon Starts filming in Belfast.
A prequel to Game of Thrones has started filming in Belfast and is set 5,000 years before the current storyline happens.
If you are worried that your Game of Thrones fix is about to come to end, then there is some good news coming.
After ten years of winding story that will culminate in an epic finale next week, there comes information on a prequel that is reportedly being filmed in Northern Ireland, with a tentative title of Bloodmoon.
The Sun has reported that this story will begin over five thousand years before the current series, and focus mainly on the Children Of The Forest, who were responsible for creating the Night King.
A source told The Sun: “Thrones fans will be delighted to hear things have started with the prequel.
“Those working on the set in Belfast are referring to the series as Bloodmoon. Producers have put together a stellar cast and it will be must-watch telly for anyone who loves Game Of Thrones.”
The series is reportedly starring Naomi Watts and will reveal "horrifying secrets of Westeros’s history to the true origin of the White Walkers”.
There is a 'big budget' in place with Jane Goldman, the wife of Jonathan Ross, writing and producing the series.
She has linked up with George RR Martin, the author of the Game of Thrones books, to create the new series, in which none of the character that viewers have come to love and hate over the years being involved.
It doesn't stop here either as there are reports of three more prequels in the pipeline, so all we need to know is will the first be with us before winter's coming.
