what ATM theft, be serious now we have a bigger problem in Ireland. Guys who visit prostituts. i just read this : Social Justice Ireland says the crises facing countless families around the country at a time when there is enough money to tackle huge problems in society is both “unacceptable and unnecessary”.

“Despite being one of the richest countries in the world, with one of the fastest-growing economies, Ireland today has 780,000 people living in poverty. A quarter of a million of these are children, and over 100,000 of them have a job,” said Dr Seán Healy, director of the organisation.

“There are over 700,000 people on waiting lists for healthcare; over 500,000 homes without broadband. Over 11,000 people are homeless, with close to 110,000 households in need of social housing.”

So instead of give money to the sectors they really need this money they spend on 'survey' who visited girls ... i thought Only in my country Government gave money to build a sauna in a small village rather then repair the roads and other real problems the country confront with .

p.s they should give more money to healthcare, i went to emergency with a friend who broke her hand we were there for a whole day( 11 hrs) because not many nurses and doctors there , employee more people, more nurses, more doctors, pay them , to stay one full day is disgusting!

Guards are not too bad and as we all know its illegal to pay for sex here now so obviously they will always take her side, the side of the law, they may not agree with it but they have to do it.
TBH The guards been doing FA from this Bill's introduction with a few scattered random raids here and there to keep some kind of happy but the building pressure of organisations like Ruhuma and others are making them up their game, must be relentless pressure so they have got no choice

These are professional gangs, they carry firearms and why would any Guard risk their lives and for what. It so much easier and less life threatening work out there to be getting on with

Or how as the news breathlessly followed the turf war between those two gangs, far fewer arrests were made given the info freely available. In , every, fecking, broadsheet ,tabloid and whtever the journal counts as.

Still having your life and family threatned by real crimminals /is/ far scarier than going after two adults engaged in consensual activity in a commercial setting that brings untold wealth into the economy.
Bloody un-Christian if you ask me. Did not the Good Lord say ' be fruitful and multiply (that ho's dollars)?' XD
What if "It's Raining Men" and 'Let the bodies hit the floor' are both about the same event but from different perspectives 🤔

but you are missing the point here, what being rich social housing and poverty got to do with anything. you cant compare them, the survey is being done on something that is against the law, illegal activity, the other you mentioned is not illegal, its just very poor management and passing the buck, its always how its been from one government to the next, its how it is Cherry

The guards are enforcement not policy makers. Like anything they get pressure based on optics and newsworthy events. Plus they have to show results based on costs. I doubt any specific case can be shown to be deliberately ignored, it's a matter of resourcing and understanding where they can be effective to meet whatever goal they have been set.
