    Default Galaxy Fold: Samsung smartphone

So a new phone that costs around £1500 is soon to be released next week and yet in some countries that have already been selling the device have had issues.
The foldable screen is breaking only after 2 days, for some, on the day they have bought the device.

My first question is: Why spend that much on a phone?
Second question: Why spend that much on a phone?
And my final question: What person right in mind would buy a phone that cost that much?

As soon as I heard about this phone (around 2 weeks ago) I know knew that people will start having problems with it.
A foldable phone just said problems all over.

Now that this is happening, will people be compensated and would you consider buying one if the screen didn't have problems?

I've got one on order floki🙈
I might just keep it in the box and never use it,but it's the new technology I'm interested in so it suits me to pick one up,first foldable phone ,it will only appreciate in value,it will be a collector's item in the future. As for being faulty, not proven yet,it's not for sale officially until the 26th of this month,so far they have only delivered around 50 units strictly to reviewers and some YouTubers. And most of the problems are related to reviewers not reading the warning on the box and removing what appears to be a screensaver but is actually an integral part of the screen, like any new products I am sure it will have issues, but I can live with that. The price you have to pay for innovation I guess.

Especially if you wank over it.

True Steve and that would considerably lower the maximum number of times you can open it too, so from 200,000 to 100 if it opens at all

I suspect that is true. Also, if your want the "latest thing" it is going to cost. And a few months later, when it is not the lastest thing, its cost will be considerably less.

Ye are missing the whole point lads,it doesn't matter if it breaks or not,and the screen is plastic by the way so that's not an issue,it's the first generation of something that we all will have in our pockets in a few years,ye are missing the whole picture completely. If ye don't want one then nobody is making you buy one, I,on the other hand cannot wait to get mine. Try looking at unbox therapy on YouTube, who hasn't managed to break his and just see how important this piece of kit is going to be in the future. Do not knock something just because you can't afford it FFS.
