    Arrow Gay-Conversion Therapy

Long controversial so-called ‘gay conversion therapy’ suffers a further discrediting blow >>

: Prominent US ‘gay conversion therapist’ David Matheson divorces wife and comes out as gay

Despite such practice having been cried charlatanism for many years ,

some 700.000 US homosexual persons had been through some

    conversion therapy .

So what say we now ?

    Is ‘it’ : “curable” ?

    Born or made ?
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

I'd be petty pissed off if I was one of the 700k who had been cured.

Do I revert now or should I stay straight?

    I'm so confused.

Gay people aren't the problem. The problem is other peoples attitude towards people who happen to be gay. the question is, I think, where does this hate come from. Religion dogma from the middle ages has a lot to answer for and peoples willing acceptance of it.

I’m not sure if you’re being sarcastic or finding it funny .

    Question :

In a more ‘accepting’ more ‘permissive’ society do you think the prevalence

of homosexuality will be higher , lower , or unaffected ,

compared to more restrictive societies ? xx

What do you all think ?

On a serious note, on the topic of nature vs nurture, I think it's nature. Not "curable".

I find it funny only in that people cannot see through a charlatan, but then... Trump... so what do I know about people.

But again on a serous note, I cannot imagine what someone has to go through when they realize they are gay.there must be some desire to not be, and I can understand people wanting to be "cured".

Thankfully in this day and age, we have come a long way socially, so I think most young people would almost take it in their stride, which is a very positive thing.

Don't be fragile about this! I found the article and particular case funny because it's just so epically deliciously justified.

The wider topic, I covered in the other post.
