Most cars are not cheaper.
UK cars generally have considerably more rust issues.

Higher mileage cars are better value.
Low mileage cars are better value here.

There are some exceptions but it's pretty much the case.

People convince themselves they are saving money when they are not.

You have no consumer protection buying a car abroad.
Warranties won't be honoured.
Anyone who says they will be has no experience of this.

Would these rust issues be due to greater wintertime driving on salted roads?

Norman has gone one better than electric. Mother ripped out the engine out of the landrover and put two sets of pedals in it so it can now be cycled.

If Norman is lucky Mother can import a pram for him and he won't even have to cycle.

Beautiful car Mercedes But apart then the costs car +tax( for a 2008 Mercedes class C 2.0 diesel i think is 750 euro /year)i think will not suit me ... i just dont see myself in a car like Mercedes.. still.. good luck to you and hope u will get a nice one
