Thread: Buying a car from UK

There is another option. Some smaller garages will bring the car in from the UK for you. You tell them what you want and they will come back with options, they bring it back from the UK and you will get some warranty also. I know of people who have done that. I brought cars in years ago but not recently. It is correct to state that there is no vrt payable on electric cars, but they must have more than 5000km or miles.

Norman has gone one better than electric. Mother ripped out the engine out of the landrover and put two sets of pedals in it so it can now be cycled.

Yes, that's correct, cars in the south of England were less prone to rust.

The tans look after their cars way better than we do, or used to, they service them religiously. A high mileage car can be a good buy if you do low miles yourself.

You have to be careful of the interiors as they do alot more humping in their cars than we do so they are bound to be stained and stuff.
