But, if I can be bold enough to get back on-topic, I made the observation that it was funny how this gang was Romanian and you might expect that they would have access to Romanian girls more easily than most. Yet, the figures suggest that there are fewer Romanians than almost any other nationality that has more than a single escort. It just seemed an odd set of circumstances. If you summarise it in one succinct, plausible sentence that is unambiguous and does not beget further obvious questions then your wish to close down the conversation might well come to pass. Or can you just not plausibly explain why one's nationality compromise privacy and security but a verified photo on-line does not?

Don't know why you keep saying if doesn't affect us - I never said it did. As for it being "none of our business" then why publicise it at all?! Putting it in profiles makes it our business. They choose not to say how many brothers and sisters they have. They choose not to say where they went to school. Therefore those things are irrelevant. But if they choose to state things on their profile then they have made it our business. I stress again that I couldn't care less what country an escort hails from but I will not take the view that any discussion of it must be closed off. If it cannot be talked about in a broad way then keep it off the profile.

Bear in mind that I posted on the matter in question without looking to know why someone might put down a different nationality to their actual one. Had no interest in that whatsoever. But then you gave reasons which made no sense to me. I'm just trying to work out if any of what you said stands up to any scrutiny at all. You sound like your man from Yes Minister who tended to explain things as being for "security reasons" in the expectation that this would stymie all further discussion because it was sensitive. Only problem with your security claims is that it is at extreme odds with the publication of verified images of the lady in the same profile.
