Tasha Thailand is a very safe place to go travelling alone. I've been there a few times alone and have always met people to share parts of the journey with...backpackers, people taking career breaks, all sorts of people . The last time I went I stayed in Koh Pipi by myself for 2 weeks and was never lonely, I had great fun. About 15 years ago I traveled all over Thailand and Laos for about 6 weeks and met lots of girls travelling/backpacking alone - I met these two english girls and travelled with them for a few days, we shared rooms to keep our costs down

Sounds an amazing experience , that i would love to feel , to be honest like i said before i am a bit afraid to do it myself alone because i never did it before ,who knows maybe with this thread i will find another girl interested in joining

If you're not able to go with anyone that you already know from before, it might be best if you go alone. Going with a complete stranger isn't the best idea, especially if you are a woman in a place you've never been.

I've been a lone wolf for the last year and a half, and have travelled even outside of Ireland by myself. Nowdays it's totally different because of the smartphones, everything that you need you can look it up with it.

I have been going on holiday alone for a few years now - everyone says "You're not going on your own ?". Well to be honest it's great been on your own as you're not waiting on someone else or going where they wanna go - you just come and go as you please and do your own thing AND you always fall in with others there for the craic too. Never been to Thailand though Tasha and I can imagine it possibly been more dangerous for a lady travelling alone but I hope that doesn't put you off. However if you do need a chaperone (an old platonic 1) you can always give me a shout
