They were also very critical of the use of the mark , when you get inside the 45 . In that a forward was more interested in calling a mark than taking on a defender.
Ya that mark rule makes it alot easier for the foward. All they have to do is catch it and they have their free. Its very tough on the defender i think.

Never expected us to finish top so delighted how things turned out today.

The football draws were made this morning, galway v mayo must be the tie of the round. Donegal v Tyrone, cork v roscommon and kildare v monaghan. Should be 4 even enough games. In the tailteann cup andy mc entee will take on his native county as antrim v meath is one sf and down v laois in the other game.

How will the games go this weekend? No 2nd chances now, lose and your out. I see paul flynn has gone for cork, kildare, tyrone and galway all to win. And down and meath to win in the tailteann cup. Will he be right?

In the hurling its galway v tipp and dublin v clare. I would expect clare to win but how will the other game go? Will galway pay an even higher price tomorrow than they did the last day for conceding that late goal against the cats.

The rebels or the rossies? Cork seem to have improved alot since clare beat them and they have momentum after beating mayo. Roscommon will be disappointed with the defeat to kildare and their reaction to that might decide todays game. I'll go for the rossies to win by one point.

I think there's a good chance that all 4 of his predictions will be incorrect. 4 games that really could go either way.

He's probably correct about the Tailteann Cup games but I'd love to see Antrim winning. Great to see their footballers having a good run and hopefully it'll lead to football improving in the county.

Kildare v Monaghan, big chance for both teams to reach the last 8. I think the big question for this game is can the lilywhites produce back to back good performances? Its another game thats hard to call. Maybe monaghan might sneak a win with a late rory beggan point.

Monaghan had a poor game against Donegal but remember that they drew with Derry in Celtic Park.

And as Newbridge is unavailable Kildare don't really have home advantage.

I'll go for Monaghan to shade it.

And I think a draw bet in each of the 4 games today wouldn't be a bad idea. And in the Galway Tipp hurling game as well.
