I see the nominations for player of the year are out today. James mccarthy isn't in the list of 3. They are david clifford, brian fenton and brendan rodgers.

Surprised at Brendan Rodgers nomination, he's not doing a great job at Celtic !

I jest of course and I'd love to see an Ulsterman winning - as long as he's not from Tyrone !

As this is the GAA thread what da fuq has DJ Carey been playing at ?
Maybe there's another thread but fuck it, talk about a fall from grace.
And saying he had cancer to con people out of money ? What the actual fuck !

I actually worked in Kilkenny during DJs hay day , He was considered a god , to put it mildly.
I lived in Gowran not terribly far from him , for a short while.
I actually felt when his sister got into difficulty that he would be mortified by her actions.
It appears that he is an even bigger cunt .
Despicable to prey on the vulnerable.

The draws for next years championship were made yesterday. As always ulster was the most intersting draw. Maybe there's some good news for geezer and armagh after last years penalty heartbreak. They do seem to be on the easier side of the draw. Fermanagh v Armagh with the winners playing down or antrim. The other side looks tougher. Monaghan v Cavan in the premliminary round with the winners meeting tyrone. And the last game is derry v donegal. Mickey harte v jim mc guiness.

In the other provinces mayo and roscommon are in the same half. Galway play sligo or leitrim. In munster cork and kerry are in the same half. And in leinster dublin and meath are on the same side. Kildare, louth and westmeath are in the other half.

I'd say the Ulster draw is even more lopsided than the Rugby World Cup draw.

And having said that we'll probably get beat by Down in the semi-finals!

Crokes won it easily, 1-14 to 9 pts. Will they now go on to defend their leinster title?
