Poor final, but that doesn’t matter, very intense, Cagy affair.
Kerry struggled with Dublin kick outs etc .
    Dublin game plan worked perfectly.

Did a team that played in division 2 of the league ever win the all ireland in the same season before?

9 all ireland medals each for stephen cluxton, james mccarthy and mick fitzsimons. Well done to them, its some achievement. Probably makes it even sweeter that it was against kerry they achieved it.

Will it go down as the turnover final? I never saw so many turnovers in a game. Ya it was very intense alright. The men that came back were a huge help to the dubs this year, cluxton, mannion and mccaffrey.

By his standards he didnt play well today, maybe fitzsimons deserves credit for that too. Who will get man of the match ? Its very hard to call i think.

Ya cluxton will go down as a legend alright. He's so accurate from kickouts too. Not bad for a player that most of us thought had retired about 3 years ago. The experts said it was a joke when they saw his name on the teamsheet for a league game last march. Who has the last laugh now.

Maybe mick fitzsimons will get the man of the match. David clifford was thought to be unmarkable before the game and mick held him to 2pts. That alone was a great achievement. But its hard to say who'll get it.
