Mayp provided a tougher test for most of the match than I expected but it`s the Dubs who win the Sam Maguire Cup for the 6th year in a row to extend their record breaking run and their 8th All Ireland title in the last 10 years. Congrats to them. The long wait for Mayo goes on for at least another year.

Congratulations to Dublin, they are a level above everyone else , they are professional athletes, I listened to Jack McCaffreys interview, about why he temporarily retired, and it gives an indication as to the commitment required to play for Dublin
Their success is ruining football in rural Ireland, but that’s not their problem
Cluxton has an amazing record of clean sheets

I think Westmeath and Dublin, is a fairly likely outcome, Cork will be no pushover, but I’d expect the Dubs to follow their men

The Dublin ladies followed the men in winning the All Ireland title after beating Cork by 5 points. This is a 4 in a row for the Jackies. Fair play to Cork for giving them a real test but at the end of the day the better team won. Congrats to them. At least this time there was no disruption with the match venue or throw in time.
