Some afternoon for the Cavan and Tipp footballers. Obviously I`m disappointed that Cork are out of the Championship but no arguments that the better team on the day won. Dublin will play Cavan in the SFs while Mayo will face Tipp. What odds on a Dublin-Tipp final in the centenary anniversary year of Bloody Sunday?

You wouldn't think Cavan had been demoted to the 3rd division just a few weeks back.
And Tipperary a division 3 team as well. Is it the year of the underdog ?

Really proud of what Cavan achieved today, we don’t get much to get excited about here , they fully deserved it on the day, worked unbelievably hard

Ah jayus what a win for Cavan, pure guts and determination and plenty of skill, looking bad with the black cards from a poor referee but we still did it, delighted for the lads as well cause they get alot of abuse and still keep coming back
