    Robbie Keane was born on this day (July 8th) 1980. He is 43 today. Happy birthday to Robbie.

    He made 146 appearances and scored 68 goals for the Republic of Ireland. He holds the record for both appearances and goals for Ireland.

    I read he scored atleast one international goal for 19 consecutive years which is a World record (I didn't know that)...I never seen a player who loved to play for his country more than Robbie!

    He also scored 126 Premier League goals and over 100 goals for Tottenham Hotspur.

    Yes the young lad from Tallaght did well for himself.
