One of my all-time favourite bands released this belter 43 years ago today!

At the tender age of 10 I was addicted. Got the bus into Dublin city centre
With me pals… headed Straight for Freebird records and bought my first single!
Couldn’t wait to get home… played it on repeat!

“On this day in 1980 a seminal moment in rock n’roll history was released! All hail, the Ace Of Spades”

King Charles III is seventy-five today.
Happy birthday, your majesty, from us peasants.

[Poor bloke. Waits all his life to get his job, gets it at an age when most people have long retired, now has to work til he dies, with no hope of retirement.]
