Even though I am having a bad morning with a flare up of injuries, the news that Roy Moore was beaten made me v happy, mind you a v close result and only for exceptional turnout 91% he would have probably won , mind you its Alabama ....... So a miracle . Perhaps not an Orange face but an angry red one in WH this morning .

You got to ask how people who voted for him rationalized that decision

Wow. I really wasn't expecting that at all.
Alabama is a hardcore red state so that's a major upset for Trumpism.
Nice to see a sense of decency prevail.
Lots of salt-right tears being shed this morning I bet.
Better go grab some while my breakfast is still warm

If he got elected I think we would be seeing chaos that would suit some, Trump tweet to NY Senator yesterday , thats a beauty No pun intended even by his standards .

Well you say that but here is the rub, he lost by about 22,000 votes and were it not for the massive turnout of black voters as high or higher than for Obama , in other words a lot of white voters in Alabama agree with Roy Moore and in a sense Trump /Bannon have exposed this and indeed put wind in its sails . Still Trump will be in difficulty now. He and Bannon seem to be on a we win or destroy America strategy
