Ireland is not the only country who use a lot of photo shopping in this industry but a lot do, some like the illusion of someone looking better, celebrities do it too. Personally I dont use or like photoshop as, I much prefer the compliments when we first meet and I my clients do to.

People drool over celebrities photos or photoshop photos people post online and think that is real, so there is a lot of competition to look good online both in and out of this industry too. And some just cant see past the fantasy anyway of the image they see too, But then some just complain and make nasty comments about photos not having any resemblance to the photos, so some just cant win.

Best to be natural and respect who you are and if others don't they are not worth the time, or to spend time with, but that!
