No there aren't. At a push there are maybe 30 genuine independent escorts advertising. The rest are agency escorts which doesn't necessarily mean they have been trafficked or coerced. The vast majority are happy with the agency arrangement.
The forum is fairly dire so why would many bother posting. It's full of trolls with multiple accounts. The most vicious arguments that might discourage escorts from posting are usually escort vs escort though. In my opinion.

Escorts are not afraid of us guys on here, we are no threat, the threat comes from other escorts as they know the truth of what really is going on and so other escorts are a little intimated by the established escorts on here while others could not care less as the pimps do the talking for them

Why would anyone risk visiting escorts in Ireland. One thousand euro fine or 5 years in jail is just not worth it. Your name in the paper could ruin the rest of your life. There are other options out there do you think the escorts care what happens you.

All I can say or offer, is what I personally have witnessed and seen. Ireland is really relatively young in the escort/prostitution game... but it HAS evolved over time. Anybody remember Florin Ghenosu?..He was a busy boy in 2008 to 2011. Pimps like him don't seem to really thrive any more. Girls today seem to have more have choices. How many are truly "Indie" or not is now irrelevant... so long as they are not coerced, and its my belief that very few fall into the coerced category. Very few indeed.

Remember the good ol' days booking a holiday to Benelmadena or Torremolinos through a travel agent and finding the price/flight/accommodation being set with little or no flexibility... now we book ourselves with the likes of Ryan Air and using Air BnB or Trivago, More options, more choice. Escorting for the girls is more like this today. There is no big bad man wielding a stick. They have choices. Most know the choices and are happy.
