Ah FFS people for a start it is not my idea but it works, and if it helps on Escort than great. Don't conflate the ridicule of an unsubstantiated claim with a lack of concern or respect for the ladies and the dangers they face daily.

The ridicule here it's that you posted something that is false and nonsensical.

Maybe well intentioned, but easily checked as being false, and if you're not going to fact check something before you post it, then you've opened yourself up to that.

You say it works, show evidence, articles, cases where it is reported as working. You say all law enforcement are aware, that is simply untrue. If you have some supporting evidence, bring it.

The danger here is that you promote something that might, or could maybe be used as an alarm signal, but falls on deaf ears because it is simply and clearly not true.

Someone calls the police and says a woman had a black dot on her palm. Ok, the police call her and find no issue. Now if she was an escort or not an escort, she has had an unnecessary contact from the police and all that entails.

Or worse, the woman believes her one way of communicating her distress is to mark her palm like this, but then goes days, weeks, before anyone even noticed it because there is no training to anyone, public or in law enforcement, or in medical centres about it.

Maybe there are other, clearer simpler and trained ways of communicating this. Like saying help, calling the police, telling the doctor, nurse, shop assistant, client?

If the woman is in the state of mind that she needs help and is asking for it by drawing a black dot on her palm, do you think she will not use the other, established methods instead? They are less cryptic and not open to interpretation.
