Nobody is denying that there isn't a criminal element involved in a certain % of the sex industry & that some girls are trafficked, however, it is not to the extent claimed by Ruhama. When Dr Susan Huschke undertook a research paper before the introduction of the law in North, less than 1% of the escorts who partook in the research, came to Ireland not knowing that they were coming to work in the sex industry. The majority of escorts, are working of their own free will. As abhorrent as some of the general public might find this or struggle to accept this, no one forced us to work as escorts. We choose to work as escorts. This is our chosen line of employment. We are not all drug dependent, vulnerable individuals who need rescuing, many escorts are well balanced, educated women. The problem is that there is a certain factor of society who disregard the opinions of sex workers & don't want to listen to both sides of this argument, this was very evident in the run up to the introduction of this law, this sector of the public are brain washed by the unsubstantiated claims bandied about by Ruhama. Research opposing the law & findings/concerns put forward by SWAI & other organisations supporting sex workers, was dismissed & side lined during the discussions before the introduction of the new law.

The criminals have not gone away, too much money to be made here and with the weak sterling its not going to get better, these gangs from Russia, Romanian and China to name but a few have adapted more to suit the situation and are one step ahead of the police forces.

Well ,I don't understand if EI not accept girls who are trafficked why accept the fake profiles .The most of the Chinese girls have not verified profile ,simple because under one profile running more girls always .The Chinese girls none of them is independent thankfully to EI.So the site never see humanity ,the site sees first the fees.

ei are only a hosting site, just as similar sites such as done deal, ebay etc, we pay ei to host our ad, end of. ei don't control any aspect of how girls work, it's up to girls if they choose to have their photos verified or accept reviews, nothing about how a girl should work, offer, allow is dictated by ei.

Floki, As you say E-I is only an advertising site so really anyone who pays the fee can advertise. Pictures not verified, fake pictures, blurred out faces etc, how can you really know,

If we can see that the photos belong to the escort, then we will post the photos up and we shall verify the photos.
However, if we do not believe the photos belong to the escorts, then we will not post up the photos, this is up to the escort themselves to post, but they are warned if the photos are reported, then they will be taken down.

If there are photos that are verified and they have been proven to be fake (with an activate and valid link), then we shall remove the photos.

what I mean here is for E-I to stop verifying pictures that are not the escort, that would be a start.
I would love to know who verified them and what is the process.
