Trust me Annabel. I don't need any self pity. I'm a thick skinned guy and I can take anything posted against me. Some people find comfort from their personal issues in life here on the boards. You know my scenario and some here know it's damn true what ive gone through recently. I've no reason to lie about my situation and I don't need to be babied either. Had a '76 Pop-Up Tent model, sleep 4 , swivelling front chairs , mini kitchen , plenty of storage !

Mine was 'orange' . Loved it ! Took to it and hand painted it to 'downgrade' the looks : had 1000s $

worth pf climbing equipment in it , plus single white young girl driving cross country+ , less attention better ;

drove It all the way down to Mexico City -- now there was an adventure ! :

'Dissuade' three Mexicanos in middle o' da nite from trying to take advantage of Me or of my vehicle !!

: so I hand painted it to make it look 'poorish' , but had best of the best 'under the hood' (in the back lol) +

indoors . 12yr batteries , best tires w two to spare , yet I left the Pop-Up Canvas torn -- to carry the 'image' .

: Was my Beast ! Rock climbing Boulder to NewMex , J-Tree and Tahquitz (total Epic !) ,

Lovers' Leap in Cali/Nev. , Flagstone , and all the way down to MexCity - solo , with the occasional

Two-three climbing companions ... Was a Dream !!

Santa Cruz and Giant Sequia Forest , Yosemite , Lumpy Ridge and The Monastery in Colorado ...

So many memories , if I could , I would buy my Beast back today !!
