You don't have to break the rules to have your posts deleted

I was interested to see how the site would address the legitimate questions asked by some about the EOTM scoring. They have got it wrong before and some intelligent non-troll posters were asking for confirmation that the counting had been correct.

I am sure the thread ended up being trolled by some, but rather than delete offending posts, the whole thread has disappeared, including polite posts that broke no rules. Not classy, and the sort of thing that drives away constructive posters.

Nothing against the lovely winner, and other contenders - amazing start for Aysha, and best of luck to her.

Fair point - I don't think the OP intended it as a campaigning thread, but maybe a rule is needed to stop that becoming a thing.

If that was the reason, I think whoever deleted it should say so, and post a proper answer to the legitimate questions about the scoring.
