At half time Japan lead 21-7 after getting a third try. Unless the Sots radically up their game in the second half they will be going home after this match.

Scotland get a 2nd try by Nel and reduce the lead to 28-14. Still a long way back for them though.

Some of them including their captain were born in NZ/Samoa/Tonga/Fij and qualify to play for Japan through the residency rule. I`m sure the others understand English well enough too.
