Default Has the new law come into force yet?

    http://www.irishstatutebook.ie/eli/i...l#commencement

As far as I can tell from the Irish Statute Book the new law is not yet in force, as there is still no commencement date. That would be my reading of the situation anyway as per the website. So that means that the situation right now is the same as ever, nothing has yet changed yet, or am I wrong?

Either that, or they will start inputting fake punter arrests into the system, which would also be good news for genuine escort enthusiasts out there.

yes but they always find time to do the wrong things and raids are continuing, its a sad day for all and to see such an idiotic law come in force but at least now we know now.

Here its all about money specific incoming to revenue with fines... is not about protecting escorts or stop 'trafficking' what a joke

''if someone (a client) will take it to the court the case will not stand a chance this law as is difficult to prove they paid for ,,,anything unless he pay an undercover garda. the law is full of hole, they rushed, to quick to much and the result was this broken law''

    - one of my regular client a lawyer said ...

''they rely on the thing that guys will prefer to pay the fine rather then go public in the court ,because in the court the client will win because the law is full of 'holes' ''

.. and with transport to be illegal to transport an escort? what a good joke. then bus companies will have no more clients as most of escorts travel with bus ... or they ment if u know u transport an escort u comit an offence.. but what happen if u dont know?
