Mercedes has problem with Lewis Hamilton’s tyres.
He pitted early but this has put him out behind Sebastian Vettel.

Lewis Hamilton appears to have some sort of mechanical problem. He is reporting "power dropping in and out"

Ferrari win on the cards with ten laps to go.

    One for the Tifosi

Sebastian Vettel wins the Australian Grand Prix for Ferrari.
    Ferrari's first win since 2015

Lewis Hamilton might have had problems but Sebastian Vettel drove a smooth steady race preserving his tyres and once he had the lead he controlled the race.

Sebastian Vettel really messed up. If he had kept his head and not got a penalty he could have won.

Lewis Hamilton would have won if it was not for his head-rest problems.

Lewis Hamilton will receive a five-place grid penalty for this Sunday's Austrian Grand Prix because of a gearbox change.
That means the highest he can qualify is sixth.
Not what he wants because he is 14 points behind Sebastian Vettel at the moment.

The final qualifying has been stopped in Austria because Romain Grosjean’s car has stopped, blocking the track and no time left to clear it. Anti-climax.
Unexpected stop so some drivers will have been caught out.
That puts Valtteri Bottas on pole.
Sebastian Vettel qualifies second with Kimi Raikkonen third.
Lewis Hamilton qualified third, but will start in eighth position because of his grid-penalty.

    1. Valtteri Bottas Mercedes - 1m 04.251s
    2. Sebastian Vettel Ferrari - 1m 04.293s
    3. Lewis Hamilton Mercedes - 1m 04.424s (* +5 place penalty, starts 8th))
    4. Kimi Raikkonen Ferrari - 1m 04.779s
