    Default Psoriasis

    Hey,

I've got a pretty nasty case of psorasis. It's completely non-contagious so there's no problem with anything like that, it's more embarrassing than anything, but it's a bit awkward to bring up on the phone, y'know? Especially if the lady in question doesn't have English as a first language. I've been refused service before because of it, which I totally understand, but I thought I'd just throw it down here and see what may happen. I'm in Cork, but move around a fair bit.

Maybe describe as 'dry skin' for someone who may not understand what you mean. If it is very bad then do consider that bits of skin will be left all over the bedding, so with a bit of extra knowledge the lady might prefer to put an extra sheet on the bed that she can easily whip off, give it a good shake and pop it straight into the washing machine. Or it might just be the difference between using light sheets instead of dark ones, so it's not so obvious while you are on the bed together. I know in an ideal world we would all change the sheets after every client, but not all touring apartment have the facilities to do this, so knowledge is power.

Someone I have come and see me he showers and then I rub his cream into him which stops with flakes and things, plus he feels more comfortable. If its particularly bad, you could take along a sheet fir the bed as some ladies who are touring like kate said may not be able to see you because they dont have the means to clean up afterwards.

Like the other fabulous ladies have said if you see me around I am happy to see you

Psoriasis doesn't bother me, I've got several family members who suffer from it.

Not only of the skin but also in the blood which affects the joints.
His GP sent him to a rheumatologist who put him on a course of methatexate and it cleared it up big time.
The only issue is he has to take it for the rest of his days and it has an effect on the liver which means he has to watch his alcohol intake so his session days are gone but he's happy out.
Maybe you could bring it up with your GP.
My father came from army at 20 yo with psoriasis then all his life had it. He all the time go on the beach where no people around as he was embarrassed to undress on a beach with people until one day when he start to go to a lake near my city with mug like in a Dead Sea the water is very salty and little worms in the water where people go for rheumatic treatment . He did nothing just to put that mug on his skin , stay in sun to dry and wash with water from lake the dried mug . He went one summer dont know for how long but only one summer, since then he have clean skin like a healthy person. Never appeared anything on his skin but he still go sometimes in summer at the lake and put some mug on him maybe just because he is afraid to not come back the psoriasis. That lake is amazing. its cured my rheumatic pain on my fingers in one week 17 years ago. now the pain come back so need to go back lol.
