He has done nothing about it.
I think it is time for us to advise him that, I presume we, do not like it either.
He does not look like an appropriate Moderator, to prevent us from straying.

I agree.
When I was an E-I moderator (2009-2011) I used a rather large Avatar. After a while it pissed everyone off and they demanded I change it. I didn't. Then Management told me to. So I had to.
The moral of the story? Change your Avatar Floki. The size is too big - which might be the first time you heard that.
