Rachel the worst part of the Irish menatlity is that to many of us will always try to work angles to exploit those we perceive as in a more vulnerable position than ourselves and to many of us lick arse to the last those we perceive as our betters!

Will be interesting to see what happens. Big scary drug dealers are still running brothels in Dublin no doubt or we wouldn't have this law being pushed through so quickly.

Not strictly true. It was passed through quickly at the very end but has been hanging around for ages. Anyway since when has organised crime been afraid of laws and prohibitions in reality they thrive on this kind of thing.

Challengeable Legislation yes but would be waste of time, the government were smart to include many parts to the Bill with some that even I, a punter would agree with.
Its gaining momentum elsewhere and You will probably see other countries like Scotland adopting a similar Bill at some stage
