You are hardly going to come along and say "yes i pemloy them because they are cheap labour.Its no more a ridiculous suggestion thatn somone saying "I have to defend Poles because 5 of my staff are Poles.


Probably one of the main reasons we have a lot of different nationalities staff is that UK/Irish/US people can be a bit prudish about sex/escorts so wouldn't necessarily want to work for a company like ours. Other nationalities like Polish for example are less prudish.

I am educated enough about it to know that if there were a repeat ,that i know what nationalities can be relied upon and what ones cannot but this then depends on which side they are on.Bear i mind that i havnt googles one thing in this discussion.For one thing a google search shows up ,it will also show up a differing viewpoint.

Just to post some facts on who the Irish actually are...

Genetically, in terms of Y-chromosomes and Mt-DNA, inhabitants of Ireland and Britain are closely related to the Basques. More so the Irish than the British.

The original Irish came from northern Spain around 9,ooo years ago and spread across the island into different tribes/peoples including the Airgialla, Fir Ol nEchmacht, Delbhna, Fir Bolg, Érainn, Eóganachta, Mairtine, Conmaicne, Soghain, and Ulaid.

The word Ireland itself came from Érainn. These people were based in south Munster.

Since then the Irish people mixed with Viking, Anglo-Norman, Anglo-Saxon, Flemish and other peoples/ethnic groups to create the people on this island. Over the course of these changes the original languages spoken were replaced with English along with many other religious and cultural changes.

So now in the 21st century the Irish are mixing with many other ethnic groups. These people will only add to the richness of our culture. A culture that will continue to change.

So if you do get into a rant about Ireland loosing its culture to the hoards of new settlers arriving please think, who are the Irish really?

I must say I agree with all three of your posts Dolly. This is true but its true from both ends also.Just as you say each and every human being different and unique,each and every nationality is also unique and this uniqueness is also going to be a good or bad thing depending on the circumstances.This doesnt make either one bad or racist ,only different.So different nationalities,different views but also different likes and dislikes and that unfortuanatly includes each other.Of course i can only speak generally because i havent met each and every one of the ppl.
