As this is business, most escorts tend to take their sexual health seriously. Would you mind saying what std you have?

HI mate I find it hard to believe you get STI that quick in one day....

Not saying your wrong but one day after meeting a escort seem unreal....

And Escorts are high on list of hygiene and safety of STI....

As it their lively hood and take their job serious....

Are you sure you not met someone before that and maybe that how you got STI...

And thanks god you told her as I hope now that she ok and hasn't a STI as her health and income is seriously in danger...

I Rather meet Escorts who I know take greatest care of their health and life than meet a lady in club NO OFFENCE who you don't know who she been with and maybe had unprotected sex with a guy night before....

Lastly good luck mate and hope it go well for you and Especially for Escort too as it must be nightmare for you both.....

This is my biggest concern about visiting an escort - could anyone name me an escort who is definitely clean?

Symptoms the next day? When I go to the clinic they tell me to get a test done 2 weeks later as most don't show any symptoms or can be identified until then after being transferred. Not sure what you have, but I very much doubt it was from the encounter you are talking about, so yes you need to inform her, as you may have past it on and that means she can also be doing so.

    Thought so myself.

Usually the only thing that moves that quick is an allergic reaction.

Viruses, bacteria and fungal infections etc. usually take much longer.

Life does not come with guarantees unfortunately.

You've been on here over a year and you still haven't taken the plunge yet? I'm afraid no one can guarantee that, as you have a test done and have to wait one to two weeks for the results and would have to stop having any sexual contact while waiting to be able to see you have the all clear and definitely no symptoms and that would have to be after the second set of tests, because the first one might not pick up anything that you may have just transmitted as they do take a period of time to show up.

All I can say is that the majority of us are fine. I've never had an sti and hope that it continues that way. I have had numerous tests done while working and this is not unusual for most of us. As Sandy has said before. We rely on our health so we can work and also because we don't want to ruin our own lives.

You can get hep b from a handshake, or someone sneezing nearby too, so maybe we should all live in our own hermetically sealed bubbles?
I am replying to your last sentences which may have been influenced by a scaremongering loon of a couple of months ago. No type of hepatitis is spread by sneezing.
Hep B cannot be spread by handshaking unless both hands have weeping wounds that are rubbed together.
Hep A could possibly be spread by a handshake if someone does not properly wash their hands after doing a number 2.Hep A is not much of a concern in this part of the world but it pays to be cautious about what you eat and drink in poorer (and warmer) parts of the world. Hep A is generally a self limiting disease and people tend to clear it and recover. It is spread by the faeco-oral route.
Hep B is different. It can be spread by unprotected penetrative sex, by sharing blood or body fluids like semen(which need to pass through cuts or via mucous membranes) or via shared contaminated needles.
Again a majority of peoples' immune systems will clear the virus but a minority will become chronically infected leading in time to possible liver failure or liver cancer in some.
The spread of Hep B is majorly reduced by the practice of safe sex, proper condom use, non sharing of needles(including tattoo needles) , care with surgical procedures in Third World conditions, etc.
A combined Hep A /Hep B vaccine is available and may be offered to sex workers, those travelling to certain areas of the world, medicl personnel, etc.
There is no vaccine for Hep C at present. This can also have similar outcomes to Hep B. It has mostly been spread in the past by contaminated blood products, the importance of sexual spread (of C) is disputed.
