You missed the section on how to manipulate the press for your own advantage it seems.

As in other threads, you miss the point of the discussion - you seem to focus or cherry-pick aspects that suit you and avoid the larger issue. Do you think people can't see his use of the media? That point only augments what we are saying. And for you to make that the locus of your argument shows that you don't seem to care about the social issues he has inflamed.

Which is your right, but it does not make us screwballs to focus on that instead of "how he plays the media"... talk about focusing on 2% of the issue...

I like to discuss with both sides, and if FB had proposed something other than to denigrate people for their opinions or a specific aspect, then I would be totally open to hearing anything he has to say. I still am. However he has ignored the OP and the purpose of it, and instead called people who are fearful of the social aspects of Trump screwballs.

I understand that his opinion is different and I really hope Trump proves us all wrong, but we are perfectly within our rights to hold him to task and to be wary of him and what he represents. He has showed no other face to the public. I'm happy for FB to express his opinion, including to insult people with opposing opinions. I'm not offended at all. But if he wants to engage then he had better bring some content, some meat.

Just looked at Trumps dis avowing of Hail Trump. It is a slap on the wrist it seems to lack the angry vocabulary that we know he has, I mean a few boos to his mate Pence at theatre and its disgusting etc etc . The media are already commenting on its narrow low energy content given his vitriolic intensity towards others, this looks like a slap on the wrist with a wink and a nod to many. What he has not said here is as concerning as what he has said which is pretty pathetic in the annuals of condemnation. I mean he does not want to give energy to these people. By his standards thats almost an approval rating and no expansion of the other racist activities at all in his statement. A lot like his 60 minutes moment telling people to stop it as in hate crime.

He has given this terrible thing life, he did it and he knows it just now there are well, not behaving , there is a surprise. i am sure his statement has totally reassured everyone and these Fascists are cowering in fear !!!
