Papers might exaggerate but escorts under report crime. It says 5 escorts robbed, we can probably add a multiplyer to that.
This probably explains why advertiser numbers are down the last few months and why some established escorts have been seeing only regular clients.
Why does it take 4 months for info like this to filter down to us, clients can help by being eyes and ears on the ground.

Under reporting of violence is a big problem which is highlighted again and again in the literature which studies this issue. This is further clear evidence of the wisdom of the Canadian Supreme Court judgement and the Committee in the House of Commons which have come down strongly against any laws that infringe upon the human rights of sex workers. Legislation aimed at preventing escorts from working together is without a shadow of doubt unconstitutional. Those putting escorts in a position were they are vulnerable ought to be ashamed of themselves and hopefully some day will be driven out of public office in disgrace.

I know a girl I saw that this happened to, only found out several months later. I honestly think the we totally underestimate just how challenging this is for girls and I have always felt that the law forces girls in a way to work alone and no doubt new laws will make it even worse. I often wonder what it must be like for the girl not knowing what is coming through that door. I once ran into next guy with my fav girl, he looked down right dangerous. I rang said I would stay nearby but she was fine, like I say I do not think I would be brave enough and composed enough.
