    I see it as meaningless as I cannot see who is giving the thumbs up, or even what for for that matter.

    One guy was giving a thumbs up to his own reviews....

    Exactly.. If it was transparent, fair enough and that's fine. But it's currently an anonymous comment on a review. Thought that was not allowed here.

    I'm ignoring it at the minute - it is not meaningful without any indication of the reason for the rating.

    For example, if a review is negative and gets three downvotes, is that supposed to mean that the review does not give readers enough detail, or that the downvoters do not agree that the lady should get a negative review?
