Also the big question is why did the police not attempt to find out the identity of the person they alleged the money belonged to?

A judge returning €1200 for air fare from €5890 seized doesn’t really back up your argument. I do hope the money was returned to them in full though.
I think it requires quite a suspension of disbelief to think that four completely independent Romanian women would have the capability to travel to Ireland and rent apartments to use as brothels in Mayo, then Galway, then Wexford without some form of management to organise it. The pimp or madam may have been one of them, or someone else, and not necessarily a malign influence.
I'd suggest the guards didn't stop at this much investigation and did interview the landlords to enquire who rented the apartments. The answer probably led to their conclusion of "management". It's a shame for the ladies, I think they deserve to keep at least their own percentage of the money that was seized, but that would be difficult to implement.

I didn’t say they were dumb that’s twisting my words completely. I had to lease an apartment for a friend three months ago, because he had no rental history and I had to jump through an awful lot of hoops with references and a letter from my bank here. That was my point.
Straight answer you think they were all four completely independent?
