Shalom/salaam.
10,000 years of Middle Eastern civilisation and the place is not at peace but rather in pieces.
Whats the current definition of the word "pimped" these days anyway? Pimped used to mean "put to work". I am of the belief that today the girls are "assisted to work".. for a fee of course. A lot of times the "pimp" is another girl from their homeland, possibly working here too. If the gardai want a conviction to stick, to make their work worthwhile, they obviously need to dirty it up a bit. To announce to a judge that the girls seemed fine and working away happily would not help their cause.
In any case, 4 girls in one premises is a raid waiting to happen. Silly practise.

Why would the court rule that the money be confiscated only for it to be returned to the women later on? If what you said is what really happens then there are even greater lies than I thought being spread about prostitution.... and this time from the judiciary and An Garda Siochana!
If the Gardai claim the women were trafficked then why not question the landlord on who was paying his rent? Surely, if the Gardai were concerned about organised crime then presumably the landlord could shed light on the "third party" who pays the rent? All I smell from this story is bullshit.
The Guards do give the money back to the escorts, about €200 each time
