Maybe its that someone working as an escort might want to keep it as secret as possible. Would it not be better for business to just post a real profile and blur your face out? To at least give prospective clients some idea of what you look like...

Yes. When visiting an escort you havnt met before, be prepared for anything. You could be robbed, blackmailed or even ripped off. Maybe she doesn't look as good as the girl in the pics or maybe she is an amazing lady that is hiding from a previous life.
I sometimes decide to risk the minimum fee to see an escort using a suspect profile. I never visit the ones that just pop up for a short tour but might visit someone that has been around for a while.
